<hello and welcome back.

For the second time in program history, the barr-reeve boys basketball team are once again state champions in class 1a.

And if that wasn't enough good news, on monday one senior was recognized for his outstanding play.

Curt hopf lead barr-reeve to their state title, recording 23 points and a class 1a state finals record 19 rebounds.

As a result, not only is hopf a state champion but he's once again been selected as the ibca district three player of the week.

After the win on saturday, curt spoke about how surreal it was to have a record setting performance on the biggest stage of the year.
