Chattanooga firefighters struggled to get water to the scene as the closest fire hydrant was 3 thousand feet from the home.

The 500 block of lower cravens terrace was considered too narrow so fire crews had to walk hoses to the scene.

All of the residents got out of the burning house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
