Man buys Oklahoma house at treasurer’s auction for $100,000 — without knowing it had fire damage

The fire occurred days before the sale at the Oklahoma County Treasurer’s Resale.

The treasurer said his office’s responsibility only extends to making the sale, not evaluating the condition of the property.
