Avondale firefighters rescue man stuck in tree due to monsoon floods

A man is recovering after being stuck in a flooded wash for more than two hours Sunday.

Avondale fire crews were able to rescue the man who was hanging on a tree in the Agua Fria River, south of I-10 and north of Van Buren Street.
