Apple Watch Activity Challenge celebrates national parks on Aug. 28

Apple's next Apple Watch Activity Challenge is scheduled to kick off on Aug. 28 and will urge users to walk, run, hike and more in celebration of national parks.

Apple typically celebrates national parks in August and has over the past few years held an Apple Watch Activity Challenge to promote exploration of the great outdoors.The challenge usually requires completion of a hike, walk, run, or wheelchair workout of a mile or more to earn a special national parks-themed badge. This year's event is no different.
