WHO declares Zika virus an international health emergency

The World Health Organization took a rare step Monday and declared the Zika virus an international public health emergency. The virus is transmitted by mosquitoes and is suspected of causing severe birth defects. Dr. Jon LaPook is in Recife, Brazil -- ground zero for the Zika outbreak.
