New Amrit Bharat trains will have both AC, non-AC coaches

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced on Monday that the new Amrit Bharat Express trains will feature both AC and non-AC coaches and will operate nationwide. The trains aim to reduce travel time with improved acceleration and utilize "push-pull" technology, featuring engines at both ends. After inspecting the first train in New Delhi, Vaishnaw mentioned that Prime Minister Modi may flag off the train from Ayodhya. The minister emphasized testing the trains for 4-5 months to identify necessary improvements, and expressed satisfaction with the initial results, comparing the connectivity goals to those of Vande Bharat trains.
