Delhi weather: What makes a 'cold day'? not the jacket

IMD declared a "cold day" in Delhi on Tuesday, with Lodhi Road experiencing the first such day of the season. Safdarjung, located near Lodhi Road, did not meet the criteria for a "cold day" due to its maximum temperature being two degrees below normal. Some stations recorded lower maximum temperatures than Lodhi Road, but were unable to be classified as a "cold day" without comparison to their normal marks. The Met forecast predicts that cold day conditions are unlikely for the next few days in Delhi.
