Jordan- Yarmouk University forges new partnerships with US peers

(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Irbid, Apr 17 (Petra) �� Yarmouk University is holding talks with a host of US higher education institutions and has agreed with Virginia Tech University (VT) to identify common Master's-level electrical and computer engineering courses as part of a plan to expand partnerships with world-renowned colleges.The two universities also discussed cooperation in the "One Health" program Yarmouk University will launch in the next academic year after receiving official approval, according to Yarmouk University Preident Nabil Heilat.He said that his institution also discussed cooperation in research with the University of California Irvine (UCI), including scholarships by UCI for Doctoral students from Yarmouk University, and Arizona State University (ASU) in Digital Learning/Education and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
