(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 (KUNA) -- Malaysia registered on Tuesday 6,437 Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection cases in addition to 107 freshly registered deaths due to contamination with the pathogen, past hours.Total infections' count jumped to 745,703, while the death toll climbed up to 5,108 in the country, according to the Malaysian Ministry of Health. It added that the caseload soared to 2,156,465 and the death toll settled at 58,024.Elsewhere on the Asian continent, Thailand registered 4,662 new Covid-19 infection cases in addition to 36 deaths related to the germ. The death toll reached 1,970 and the caseload amounted to 254,515 infections.The Philippines reported 4,479 new contamination cases along with 101 mortalities due to infection with the virus. The country's health ministry said the caseload hit as high as 1,408,058 and tally of the mortalities settled at 24,557.In Cambodia, Covid-19 claimed 19 lives and sickened up to 723 people, according to the country's health ministry update, covering statistics registered over past hours. It also noted that the caseload settled at 49,255 and the death toll at 575.In Vietnam, two new Covid-19 related deaths were freshly registered, while 95 infections were added to the list of the contaminated cases.
