House Select Committee in Talks with Facebook, Commits To Issuing Subpoena Against Trump if Evidence is Found

Rep. Bennie Thompson from the House Select Committee, which is responsible for investigating the events of the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, said the panel could issue a subpoena to former President Donald Trump. The situation comes as the committee has held former Trump adviser Steve Bannon in criminal contempt.
