Former Texas police officer sentenced to nearly 12 years for 2019 killing of Atatiana Jefferson in her home

A former Texas police officer who fatally shot Atatiana Jefferson through a rear window of her Fort Worth home in 2019 was sentenced on Tuesday to 11 years and 10 months in prison for his manslaughter conviction.
