Floods in southern Thailand have killed at least six people and affected tens of thousands of households. The floods began on December 22 and have hit over 70,000 homes in Satun, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat provinces. The intense rain has caused floodwaters to reach up to three meters in some areas. Relief teams are distributing water, snacks, and assessing damage. Some rail services have resumed, but the region is still grappling with the consequences of the floods.
