US-Mexico border witnesses record high migrant encounter in Feb

According to most recent Customs and Border Patrol figures, US' southern border set record for migrant interactions in February, with 1,89,922 attempted crossings. It exceed previous February record of 1,56,000 in same month last year. It includes Border Patrol concerns and interactions at formal ports of entry, but do not include an estimate of how many migrants cross the southern border undetected.
