Ex-Husband Kevin Federline Refusing to Allow Britney Spears Additional Time With Sons The pair’s custody agreement of trading off the boys every three days was reportedly not upheld in the months leading up to Spears’s treatment.

TMZ reported that Federline had been caring for the boys a majority of the time, and is still hesitant to transfer custody to Spears.

He believes Spears needs to continue treatment and remain on medication, following her recent mental health decline.
