Trump Abruptly Ends Meeting With Democrats

Reuters reports US President Donald Trump on Wednesday cut short a White House meeting with Democratic lawmakers on infrastructure and said that he could not work with the Democrats unless they dropped multiple investigations.

The president told reporters after his brief meeting with Democratic congressional leaders, “I don’t do cover-ups." Trump also complained that Democrats had already met to discuss whether to impeach him which he referred to as “the I-word.”
