Community Foundation of Otsego County raises $175k for Covid-19 Relief Fund

Four weeks of operation... the community foundation of otsego county has raised 175-thousand dollars in donations for their relief fund over 230 people and organizations have contributed.

The community foundation supports non- profits who are helping people through this pandemic.

Helios care.... bassett medical center... catholic charities... a.o.

Fox hospital and the cooperstown food pantry have received funding so far.

Organizers set this up as a way for the rest of the community to donate... and grow the already available funds.

Not only is the relief fund new... the organization is.

The community foundation of otsego county was set to launch publicly... just as the outbreak began.

Non-profits can still apply for grants.
