Joseph school district announcing its summer athletics re-opening program... they now say outdoors conditioning can begin june 15th -- and then move into the weight rooms and gyms on july 6th.

They say they're following cdc and local health guidelines, though there will be challenges.

(sot "everything is voluntary") there is a limit to the number of athletes for each workout... coahces will have to figure out schedueling... and making sure all of their athleties are included... and how to have their athletes practice social distancing while having a productive workout.

The state high school athletics association has left it up to each individual school district to come up with their policies.

But when you have two in one conference..

Benton and lafayette in the midland empire..

And central in the suburban conference..
