Titans Standout Simmons' Hosts Free Football Camp

Tennnessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons began his football career on the gridirons in Noxubee County.

Tennnessee titans defensive tackle jeffery simmons had his start on the gridions in noxubee county now, before the n- f-l season kicks up again...simmons is giving back to that same community over in starkville, the former mississippi state bulldog hosting his first football camp this afternoon originally the camp was supposed to be in noxubee county, however was moved due to covid-19 the camp was free and kids of all ages were invited to come out and learn the game from the mississippi star simmons saying it's always great being able to give back "that's my thing.

I want to give back so the kids can see that they have some type of i wouldn't say hero, but someone to look up to in the community.

A lot of people say he's a hero in our community.

That gives me chills to see that and hear that.

When i'm able to give back, doing a free camp like this is big for the community.

It was planned to be in noxubee, but now it's in starkville.

It was a quick turnaround for the change to let the parents know that it's here.

We actually got a big crowd today.

Not sure exactly how many.

I think it was 350.
