On this day - 5 months ago - the first coronavirus case was reported in mississippi... the first case was reported in forrest county after the adult male traveled to florida... today - the governor responded to what he's learned in the past 5 months of the pandemic..
" expect the unexpected everyday, no matter what you plan for - no matter how many hours you plan for looking at the data today - its completely different tomorrow.."
The goveror also mentioned today's less than 1 thousand case count... and continued to encourage mississippians to abide by the statewide mask mandate in place and practice social distancing..
