Jackson County reports new daily high of COVID-19 cases; outbreak at Amy's Kitchen

Coronavirus cases tied to Amy's Kitchen are now being investigated as a workplace outbreak, Jackson County Public Health reported on Wednesday.

Operation is now in placepreviot amy's kitchen -- those cases had been reported throughout the pandemic, over a stretch of several months.

None of those cases were linked back to amy's kitchen so it was not considered an outbreak.

Now- there have been 18 ánew cases that áare linked to the amy's kitchen -- which meets the standard to declare an ourbreak.

The outbreak began on july 28th and is an ongoing investigation.

On top of that new outbreak, jackson county announced 24 new cases today.

That brings the county total to 618 cases.
