Beth Hourigan, OWner of the Hourglass Aesthetics & Salon, gives us a preview of what services she offers for eyelashes!

Beth, you have a here at hourglass aesthetics & salon, and i am here with the owner, ms. beth hourigan.

Beth, you have a gorgeous facility here.

Beth- owner: thank you.

Lyssa- host: new facility.

Beth- owner: yeah.

Lyssa- host: it is absolutely gorgeous.tell us about the new facility that you have here on clay avenue.

Beth- owner: yeah, so we moved just a couple of weeks ago.

We're new to clay avenue.

We bought the building last year and renovated it.

We're super excited.

We had so many things we wanted to do that we couldn't do because we didn't have enough space where we were before,so this has allowed us to really open up and provide for wellness, and do a hair salon upstairs.

Lyssa- host: exactly.

Beth- owner: we still have our awesome skin clubs and injectables and of course, our foundation, lashes, which is where we started.

So, we still do great lash extensions and of course, the lash lift and tint.

Lyssa- host: that is great.

That is great.okay, so let's talk about the lash lift and tint.

What exactly is this?

Explain that for our viewers.

Beth- owner: okay.

So, the last lift and tint, we use a dye, and we actually dye the lashes so that it looks like you have mascara on.

They're curled, so it's kind of a perm solution, and your lashes look like you've got a couple of coats of mascara on.

They're curled and they're perfect, but they're your lashes.

There's nothing false about it.there's no upkeep.

So, you can have it done once and choose not to do it again,but it will last you about a month, and people love it especially people that are out and about with their kids, and they just have chosen not to do lash extensions for some reason.

They can skip the mascara when they're getting ready in the morning, so it's been great.

It's great for blondes too.

Lyssa- host: oh, wow.

There you go.

You know what, i love the thought of skipping the mascara especially in the hot weather that we've had during the summer and everything.

I mean- beth- owner: yeah.

You're taking your kids to the pool, you don't want it on you, or you're playing with your kids in the backyard till then.

You're in the sprinklers.

Lyssa- host: exactly.

Beth- owner: so, it's just easy.

Lyssa- host: also, you do lash extensions too.

Beth- owner: we do.

Lyssa- host: that's also a big part of what you all do here.

Beth- owner: yeah.

Yeah.

We've always done lash extensions, and they're great.

It's something that we really kind of opened the doors up in lexington too because we were the first lash bar in lexington, and i think in the state, so of course, we still do lash extensions,and we have girls that can't live without them.

So, it's ... and i'm one of those people.

They're just amazing.

Lyssa- host: i know.

Beth- owner: they're so great.

They make your eyes look very open.

You look awake.

You always look like you have your makeup on.

You just brush your lashes and go.

Lyssa- host: i love it.

I need to have this done.

I have not done this yet.

I've heard- beth- owner: this is in your future.

Lyssa- host: ooh, i like the sound of that.

I know that my co-worker had it done today, and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

I mean, it did look like she has mascara on.

Beth- owner: yeah.

Yeah, it's beautiful.

Lyssa- host: it really is.
