College party leads to fatal shooting overnight

We're learning more about a fatal shooting that occurred overnight on Poplar and 6th Street.

Right now - terre haute police are investigating a deadly shooting.

News 10's jordan kudish is live at the scene with the very latest developments.

Money 1 this was the scene at around three this morning.

We found several terre haute police department vehicles around the intersection of sixth and ohio streets.

An ambulance was also at the scene.

Indiana state university sent out an alert saying a shooting happened off campus.

It goes on to say this is an ongoing investigation.

We asked terre haute police for information.

But they would only tell us that people needed to avoid this area as an investigation was ongoing.
