ISDH: Tippecanoe County reports 41 new COVID-19 cases, Clinton County reports new death

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Wednesday, September 23, that 728 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

And staff members.

Since testing began on august first, the university has reported a total of 643 positive cases.

154 of those cases were reported within the past seven days.

The university's current positiviy rate is 2-point-75-percent.

So far this school year, 23-thousand 383 tests have been given.

That's in addition to the nearly 40- thousand given before students returned to campus.

Just into the newsroom - another person has died in clinton county due to covid-19.

That brings the county's total to 13, according to the indiana state department of health.

Tippecanoe county has 41 new cases.

Howard county has five - and miami county has 4 new cases.

Statewide - isdh is reporting 728 new cases.

That brings the statewide total to more than 113- thousand.

Another 10 hoosiers have died.

More than 33-hundred hoosiers have died from covid-19 since the pandemic began.
