Welcome back... hard to believe former terre haute south great jaylen minnett will begin the final season of his college basketball career next week when his iupui team opens at evansville.... the senior has been named a team captain this season for the jags... the guard has had an impressive career so far at iupui....his sophomore season he won horizon league sixth man of the year award... last season the sharpshooter averaged over 16 points a game and he broke the school single season and career records for three-pointers made.... get this minnett has hit a three in 68 straight games, that streak goes all the way back to his freshman season... i know jaylen would like to play professionally after college.... his head coach bryon rimm says minnett's game reminds him a lot of one current nba player!
