The search continues for an elderly man who may have fallen into the West Canada Creek

Oneasted rescue crews are using a helicopter, boats and a drone.
Police say there is no update at this point.
The man is said to have fallen in on friday.
Rescue crews and police searched an area along route 28 in newport friday night... all day saturday... and all day today.
They say again -- they will continue searching until dark.

We first reported the search friday night at six.
Police have brought in a k-9 unit, and underwater response team... a sort team.
Fire department, state d-e-c and oriskany water were searching just east of the west canada creek fishing access site.
Again we checked in with state police this evening.... the search was still continuing as long as their is sunlight today.
