In a speech eerily similar to the one he gave just one year ago, President Biden delivered another campaign speech clothed in the State of the Union trappings.
It was clearly a speech written for sound bites and media fawning, but really didn’t tell us much about the actual state of the union.Oh he made some silly claims and spoke multiple half truths and hyperbolic claims, but we really didn’t get much a vision other than his plans to spend more money on the same things he talked about last year.
But hey- the Democrats in the room had plenty of one-liners to clap and cheer about because Biden used all the right catch phrases and bashed the guy with the funny hair a lot.
