Starbucks joins Facebook boycott, announces 'pause' on advertisements over hate speech policies

Starbucks has joined the growing list of companies boycotting Facebook over hate speech policies by pulling their advertisements from the social media platform.
"We will pause advertising on all social media platforms while we continue discussions internally, with our media partners and with civil rights organizations in the effort to stop the spread of hate speech," wrote Starbucks in a statement on June 28.
