And the community is stepping up to help all those who've been forced out of their homes.

Kezi 9 news reporter evita garza shows us how some roseburg residents are volunteering on their own time to help those who need it.

What can i do, what can i help with?

It started on thursday& with morris asking the community to drop off a few donations at ten down bowling alley in roseburg.

But in just 24 hours, it received an overwhelming amount supplies.

I don know exactly what i doing and wee kinda just going with it, but whatever someone needs, wee here to help?

Morris says donations are pouring in by the second and she couldn be prouder of her community?

Since the archie creek fire started on tuesday& nearly 3,000 people have been evacuated from their homes.

That includes people from glide, idleyld park and other surrounding areas.

The american red cross is also helping evacuees at the douglas county fairgrounds& handing out supplies and helping with temporary shelter options.

It has just been phenomenal?

As for morris and her team of volunteers& she says theyl be handing out supplies to evacuees in the bowling ally parking lot every day until everything is gone.?even in all these times of crisis, i hope that people can see the good that comes out?
