India posts defence attaches to several new nations for 1st time

India expands military ties with new countries, focusing on arms exports. Govt sources on Wednesday said 15-16 new attaches from the Army, Navy and Air Force are now being posted to countries like Poland, Armenia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast and the Philippines "some rationalisation" by cutting down on the number of military officials posted at the large missions in Russia, the UK and France.
